It is a requirement of the Riding School for every new customer to have an assessment prior to their first lesson. This will enable us to select a suitable horse or pony for the rider's ability, and costs £20.00 for adults and £15.00 for children.

Riding Lessons

Individual, shared, or group lessons are available in half-hour, 45 minute or one hour slots with discounts available for block bookings.

Jumping Lessons (subject to availability)

1 hour group lessons start at £30.00 for adults and £28.00 for children with discounts available for block bookings.

Hacks (weather permitting) for walk, trot and canter riders only

Fully experienced riders can take a Two Hour Beach Ride for £40.00 per person, one hour private or group hacks are also available.

Crofton Pony Club Membership

Crofton Pony Club Membership starts at £25.00 per child with Pony Club sessions costing £30.00 with discounts available for block bookings.

All lessons must be paid in full at time of booking. Minimum 24 hours cancellation notice is required for a full refund.

Riding School Rules for your Safety

• NO SMOKING on the riding school premises
• Remain in reception until otherwise instructed by a member of staff
• Keep noise to an absolute minimum
• NO RUNNING around
• STRICTLY NO DOGS allowed on the riding school premises
• NO PUSHCHAIRS to venture into the yard/stable area or anywhere near the horses
• NO UMBRELLAS on the riding school premises
• NO SANDALS or SOFT SHOES to be worn whilst riding or anywhere near the horses, strong supportive boots only
• NO SHORTS or SKIRTS to be worn riding no matter how hot the weather
• DO NOT FEED THE HORSES - you may leave treats at recpetion and staff will ensure the receives the treats with the evening feed.
• ALWAYS approach horses from the side, NOT BEHIND
• Throw litter in the bins provided
• Close gates and doors behind you
• Once your lesson has finished you must return to reception immediately. Do not wander around the yard/stables
• SPECTATORS are welcome to view lessons at main school gates but must return to reception area to wait for riders
